The System Validation engineer will be part of the system group, which is responsible for delivering MultiPhy’s products to customers and for the adaptation of the products to specific customer applications.
What Will Your Job Look Like?
Development of automation tests
Automatic verification of system features and functionality
Building lab optical and electronics set-ups
Analysis and optimization of chip and system parameters (including Phy, RF parameters, link budget Etc.)
System debug (both at the company’s lab and at customers’ sites)
BSc in Electrical Engineering
3-5 years’ experience in SV/system positions
Experience in SV of PHY-layer product (modem / RF system / ASIC)
Experience in automation and tests
Experience with lab test equipment (scope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator etc.)
Proficiency with MATLAB – Must!
Additional scripting language, like Python – Advantage
Experience with optical fibers – Advantage
The Senior PHY System engineer will be responsible for pre/post-silicon system design activities to achieve full operation and optimization of all PHY aspects in a full system environment.
What Will Your Job Look Like?
Define product Phy requirements, based on std. definitions & customers’ requirements.
Define System and SW specs for the relevant development teams
Track std. bodies activities (during std. definition) & define PHY products requirements accordingly.
Drive and lead Phy system integration. Align all domains (Modem/VLSI/Analog/HW/SW/Optics) and make sure the product meets the system requirements
Responsible for debugging & solving multi-disciplinary system issues involving the HW/SW/Optics/Modem domains in close cooperation with all of the development teams
BSc in Electrical Engineering or higher
At least 5+ years of experience in PHY system engineering
Good understanding of PHY layers and MODEMs
System level understanding – ability to lead multi-disciplinary (Modem/VLSI/Analog/HW/SW/RF) activities
Hands-on integration experience
Firmware (C++) for a Real-Time, on chip, system: Infrastructure, device drivers, algorithms implementation, communication protocols
Cross platform embedded ost driver in C
Close work with the architecture, hardware and algorithm teams
Implement Software for evaluation board and its peripherals
Bring-up upon silicon arrival
Customer integration and support
B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in Real Time Embedded
Minimum 3 years of development experience in C++ and C
Experienced with developing under multitasking embedded environments
Good knowledge of Real-Time operating system (ThreadX, FreeRTOS, VxWorks etc.)
End to end chip/system development process:
Various applications, System full potential/performance, Interface with customers

The Digital Backend Leader will serve as a technical lead of backend developments of complex SoC ICs in advanced process technologies.
The role requires close interactions with other teams in the R&D organization, such as Architecture, VLSI design, Analog design, Package development, as well as external third parties.
At least 8 years’ experience as a backend engineer, preferably in a leadership role
Experienced with 16/28 nm advanced technologies.
Experienced with entire backend flow from Netlist/RTL to GDSII
Experienced with top level design and Chip closure/signoff
Knowledge in SOC integration

This is a key position as it is responsible for technical support of strategic accounts in the data center and communications industry, from design-in to production, with a focus on the US territory. It provides hands-on technical support to customers in their decision making process and subsequent integration of MultiPhy devices. Serves as an interface between customers’ engineering/ engineering management and MultiPhy engineering organization to help drive adoption of existing products and definition of new product roadmap.

10 year experience as system designer at an OEM or data center, or as customer applications/ system engineering at a semiconductor or optical module provider
Experience as an CAE (or equivalent role)
Ability to understand and discuss system-level issues as well as chip-level issues
Customer-centric, with an ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of functions within our customer base: engineering, senior engineering management, manufacturing, QA…
Good communication skills both oral and written: ability to prepare and deliver a presentation, summarize a situation/ action plan in a memo…
